I have a confession to make: I listen. Constantly. I know that I should probably have more respect for people’s privacy, but the fact of the matter is that if you’re having a conversation in a public place, you might as well be prepared for that conversation to go public. Please don’t get me wrong here – it isn’t like I snoop around or listen in with malicious intent. It’s more or less that I just:
A. Try to be aware of my environment; I am therefore always looking around and listening to things. And
B. I think that people are probably the most interesting things I could ever have imagined.

The combination of these two things is pretty dynamite, because whether it’s intentional or not, I overhear some pretty ridiculous things. I recently started mass-texting friends with the quotes I’d catch, but I’d rather not make that a habit. Thus, a blog is born. Chances are, I’ll get busy with school, or the novelty will wear off, or I’ll forget to update and this whole idea will fizzle out and disappear like a meteor. But for the time being, check back when you think about it. See what people are saying.
